The brand-new MG ZS EV was unveiled for the very first time at the London Motor Show, and was one of the most anticipated new cars at the event. The ZS EV is MG’s first move into electric cars, and when it goes on sale in the UK this September (2019), it will become the most affordable and accessible all-electric car on the market. Watch this space, because we think MG’s latest car could be a watershed moment for electric cars.

Hyundai Tucson N-Line

Hyundai Tucson N-Line

Hyundai has risen to become one of the UK’s biggest car manufacturers, and the Tucson is one of the brand’s big sellers. This year, the crossover SUV is getting an N-Line facelift, with visual tweaks to make it look sportier, as well as some performance enhancements to give it more grunt beneath the bonnet. The car had its first outing at LMS19, and is expected to hit the forecourt over the coming weeks.

Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 proved one of the most popular cars of the London Motor Show, thanks in part to the hype that’s been gathering about it. Tesla has spent several years perfecting its latest all-electric offering, but the car is now officially available to order at Tesla dealerships. When it finally hits the road, it will be Tesla’s most accessible car to date, and is expected to be a big hit for those wanting to make the switch to electric.

Audi e-tron EV

Sticking with the electric theme, Audi’s award-winning e-tron EV also drew the crowds at the show. Audi’s answer to the Tesla Model X and the Jaguar I-Pace, the e-tron is different from other electric vehicles in that it looks the most like a standard car – with conventional styling and cabin layout. It does have a few tricks up its sleeve, however, including innovative new electric side mirrors which Audi claims will give drivers a better view of what’s around them.

Range Rover Evoque

As well as the latest electric, hatchback and crossover models, there was a handful of exciting supercars on display at the London Motor Show, including the immense Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder. This is the soft-top version of Lamborghini’s benchmark-setting Huracan Performante, a car which smashed the lap record at the fearsome Nurburgring. The Spyder shouldn’t be far behind its coupé sibling, with a V10 engine producing over 640 horsepower.

Noble M500 Prototype

UK-based car brand, Noble, was among several supercar manufacturers showcasing their latest models at the London Motor Show, bringing with them the all-new, still-in-development, Noble M500 prototype. Sporting a V6 twin-turbo engine and some serious downforce technology, the new M500 is expected to be a rival to the McLaren 570S when it goes on sale.

Bugatti Chiron

2016 Bugatti Chiron

Most car fans will probably never see a Bugatti Chiron in the flesh, but this was a rare treat for attendees of the London Motor Show. Both the Bugatti Veyron and the Chiron made an appearance at the event, giving petrolheads the chance to sit behind the wheel of two of the fastest and most powerful cars ever made. Although the Chiron has yet to set an official top speed, it was no doubt the fastest car on display at LMS19.
