Redex 5W-40 is a fully synthetic motor oil that’s suitable for use in a range of engines, including Mercedes-Benz, VW, Renault, and Porsche models.
Redex 5W-30 for VW, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Porsche has been carefully developed to meet the demands of modern motoring.
Thanks to its high-quality, fully synthetic blend, the mid SAPS oil can be used in engines of all ages, and those operating under long life service regimes.
If you’re looking for a premium engine oil to add to your Porsche, Audi, VW or BMW, our 5W-30 C3 is among the best non-OEM variants money can buy.
Decades of Redex know-how go into every bottle, so you can rest assured that your car’s engine is optimally protected.
Fully synthetic oil is the gold standard in engine oil. It offers the best protection against high and low temperatures, as well as wear, dirt, and corrosion. And because it’s a premium, lab-developed oil, there’s no need to use improvers or treatments.
Not only does Redex 5W-30 offer maximum protection for your Porsche, VW, or BMW vehicle, it lasts longer between oil changes, so you won’t need to change it as often as non fully synthetic oil. That means greater peace of mind and more money in your pocket.
This engine oil is recommended for applications requiring:
It also protects exhaust after-treatment units.
Check the owner’s manual to ensure you have the correct oil for your vehicle. You can also check the Redex Oil Finder to ensure you have the correct Redex Oil for your vehicle.
Ensure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface to get an accurate oil level reading.
It’s best to check the oil when the engine is cool or has been off for a few minutes. This allows the oil to settle back into the oil pan for a more accurate reading.
Open up the bonnet of your car and locate the oil dipstick. It’s usually a brightly colored handle labeled “Engine Oil” or similar.
Pull the dipstick out of its tube and wipe it clean with a rag or paper towel. This ensures any excess oil doesn’t skew your reading.
Fully reinsert the dipstick back into its tube, making sure it’s seated properly.
Pull the dipstick out again and observe the oil level. There are typically two marks on the dipstick—a “low” mark and a “full” mark. The oil level should fall between these two marks. If it’s below the “low” mark, you’ll need to top up the oil.
